About us
Sandra Fields
LPC/MHSP
I believe every individual is created to live out the truth of who they are. With over 35 years of experience, I invite individuals to discover who they are through willingness, patience, work, and time. Using trauma competent practices, I utilize active listening and genuinely curious questions to help individuals find solutions for problems, make better choices, and grow to become the best versions of themselves.
Life's too short to be unhappy, unsure, or unfulfilled. Let me help you learn and develop better ways to handle the issues that are standing in the way of your goals. Get in touch today to see what I can do for you.

Is there anything worse than feeling stuck? Whatever you’re facing, my priority is to make sure you know you are not alone, and to know you are supported in your efforts to make a change in your life. In our sessions, we make space for you to do the processing you need to do in order to reach your own conclusions about how you want to move forward. This is the kind of clarity we aim for, because when you can arrive at your own conclusion, it’s real enough for you to hold as your own.
Much of my therapeutic approach includes cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing, but I also find that an emotion-focused approach is needful in order to help you attach your most deeply-held values to your goals. Therapy is not an intellectual exercise, and a rational understanding will not be enough to pull you from old habits and attachments that are disrupting your life and making you feel stuck. The life you want could be the life you start living today! Ready to get started?

I am from East Tennessee and have been practicing mental health counseling for over a decade. I enjoy accompanying clients through transformations emotionally, physically and mentally.
My Approach to counseling is aimed at aligning with the Client’s desire and goals. I believe we as wonderful human beings know what we want, but often lack the tools to achieve our own goals. Through therapy and behavior modifications I believe we can allow all things to strengthen us.

Together we will empower you to reach your goals.

Welcome to the first step. Finding a best fit counselor to walk alongside you while you set and achieve your goals is the most important part. I would love to meet you. My approach is genuine, compassionate, and client centered. We will work together to learn more about you, set your goals, and reach your potential. I believe everyone needs an unbiased, nonjudgmental partner to either simply confide in or to overcome hurdles and give assistance in moving towards a goal.
